Gerade hat Sony die neuste Update zur Android 7 (Nougat) Roadmap veröffentlicht. Nutzer des Xperia Z3 , welches die Developer Preview bekommen hatte, schauen in die Röhre. Laut dem Sony Blog bekommen folgende Geräte das Update:
- Xperia Z3+,
- Xperia Z4 Tablet,
- Xperia Z5,
- Xperia Z5 Compact,
- Xperia Z5 Premium,
- Xperia X,
- Xperia XA,
- Xperia XA Ultra
- Xperia X Performance*.

Warum das Xperia Z3 fehlt ist mir nicht klar, zumal es das erste Smartphone aus der Xperia Serie war die die Developer Preview bekam. Nur auf die Preview 5 wurde verzichtet.
Gerade habe ich gelesen bei Google Plus, weshalb das Xperia Z3 das Update nicht bekommt. Es sind wohl größere Hardwareseitige Probleme , die nicht gelöst werden konnten.
Zingo Andreson ein Developer der Xperia Z3 Concept Software schrieb dazu:
We know that you all hoped for a N release and we really wanted to give you one but instead we have to tell you that we won’t be able to. :(
The reasons are both technical and legal. If you followed the N Developer Preview program you know that we didn’t release the final DP5. That program ran into some unforeseen limitations (1) that could not be resolved.

Hi there, unfortunately the Preview 5 update came with unforeseen platform limitations, therefore it can’t be pushed out to the Xperia Z3 devices. I’ve been trying to find out if there is a quick fix for the WiFi issue, however it appears unlikely.
I can only apologise for any inconvenience and frustration caused. At this point if you require a more stable environment, a reset to the latest commercial software is an option, however I understand that isn’t ideal.
